CADE includes several panels with network diagram blocks:

• Network Equipment
• Photo Realistic Equipment
• Network Logical Symbols

Block and attribute collection is extendable (EMF, WMF, GIF, JPG files).

Attributes and labels

Storing data. A block could have associated attributes. For example Workstation block has Name, IP Address, Serial Number and Manufacture attributes. All that attributes could be displayed as labels. When you change attribute value the label is updated automatically.

Extensive draw cable functionality

CADE provides extensive draw cable functionality. Polylines representing cables could have different line types, colors, width. Polylines could be orthogonal. It is possible to add, delete, modify vertices. Collection of different terminators is available.

You can easily connect network topology shapes by using smart connectors that can be visually attached to the library shapes. After you have joined device and connector your device remains connected even if you want to move it somewhere.

Layering

Layers are very useful to organize graphic information. Layers could be visible / invisible, enabled / disabled, selectable / unselectable.

Alignment and arrangement tools

Snap and grid will help you to place equipment the right way. Also available alignment and arrangement tools.

Data migration and supported formats

CADE utilizes DXF 12 format. The latest DXF, DWG and DGN formats support is available under request.
Export formats include EMF and JPG.

Zooming and navigation

CADE includes extensive zooming functionality: Zoom In, Zoom Out, Zoom Window, Zoom All, Zoom Selection, Previous Zoom commands are available. Viewports could be saved and restored. CADE is designed and implemented for use with large sites.
